What's new

Week commencing 17-May-2026

Growth tracking arrives, plus a quicker way to log recent events.
4 updates

Weight & height tracking with WHO percentiles

You can now log weight (kg) and height (cm) measurements for your child. Each entry is automatically compared against WHO growth standards for ages 0–24 months, giving you a live percentile preview as you type. A dedicated Growth page shows your child’s measurements plotted against the 3rd, 15th, 50th, 85th, and 97th WHO percentile curves, plus a trend line of how the percentile itself has moved over time.

Growth chart with percentile curves

The new Growth page (linked from the header) displays an interactive SVG chart for both weight and height. Toggle between the two to compare your child’s trajectory against WHO reference curves. Data points and percentile trends are overlaid so you can spot whether your child is tracking, climbing, or dropping on their curve.

“5 mins ago” quick option in time picker

When logging nappies, feeds, sleep, or any other event, the time picker now offers a “5 mins ago” shortcut right below “Just now”. Handy when you didn’t log it the moment it happened.

Improved mobile header layout

The header and main content area now wrap more gracefully on smaller screens, with tighter spacing and better touch targets.

16 updates

Better support for shared households

When more than one parent or carer is using BabyLog, the activity log now makes it clearer who recorded an event, and inviting someone into the household works more reliably.

New weekly updates page and easier public navigation

Visitors can now quickly read the latest updates, jump into the demo, and get to sign-in more easily from the public pages.

Faster, lighter page loading

We’ve streamlined some of the app behind the scenes so key pages load more cleanly and only pull in extra tools when they’re actually needed.

Sleep tracking simplification

Sleep logging is now more flexible and easier to keep accurate, even when you are updating events after the fact.

Edit or remove sleep entries from the activity log

You can now tap sleep items in the log to correct the start or end time, or delete them if they were added by mistake.

Times now match your household timezone

Activity times and chat references now line up with your household’s local time, which reduces confusion when travelling or sharing updates.

More useful overview cards

The dashboard now shows live values for things like feeds today, last nappy, and recent activity, and older timings stay clearer instead of showing impossible values.

New activity logging options

You can now record more day-to-day activities in a dedicated activity flow, with the same simple drawer-style experience as other trackers.

Improved chat memory

The assistant now does a better job of remembering recent conversation context, so follow-up replies feel more consistent.

Public demo mode

A no-sign-in demo is now available so new users can explore the product before connecting their own household.

Refreshed BabyLog branding and smarter app icon

The app now uses the BabyLog name, updated teddy branding, a cleaner mint-accented look, and an app icon that better reflects the child you are currently tracking.

Accessibility improvements

Keyboard support, heading structure, focus handling, and reduced-motion behaviour were improved to make the app easier to use for more people.

Push reminders and installable app support

BabyLog can now support reminder notifications and works more like an installable app on mobile devices.

Feed, activity, and chat improvements

Feed tracking has a fuller logging flow, the overview now includes lightweight chat access, and the activity timeline is more useful as a running summary of the day.

Quicker dashboard actions and cleaner settings

Key cards on the overview are more actionable, each child can have their own tracking setup, and household settings have been tightened up to feel clearer and more consistent.

Better mobile experience

Sheets, drawers, and form actions were improved so the app stays easier to use on smaller screens and awkward mobile browser layouts.
